Discover the most beautiful reaches of the River Thames from Marlow.
A one hour cruise provides time to explore from The Compleat Angler Hotel upstream to Temple Lock. Along the way you'll pass a selection of magnificant riverside homes, the ancient church at Bisham as well as Bisham Abbey itself. The properties then give way to countryside as you approach Temple Lock where you'll make the return journey downstream.
With a longer booking you'll have time to pass through the locks - for 2 or 3 hours we recommend cruising down through Marlow lock onto the longer reach. As you leave Marlow you'll be heading downstream towards Bourne End enjoying varied views and wildlife along the way. Two hour trips will turn at Bourne End, though if you have longer you can continue on to Cookham.
For a memorable day out bring a picnic and book a full, short or half day. Either direction from Marlow can offer a wonderful itinerary - from a pub lunch in Henley to a riverside picnic at Cliveden Estate. If you're not sure which would be best please get in touch so we can advise.
All our self drive electric boats have a picnic table, you are of course welcome to bring your own food and drink but please leave the boat tidy to avoid any cleaning charges.
